The clinic is in Kidderminster in the Midlands UK, but there is no need to visit clinic it’s all done remotely and sent out to your home
WHO GIVES THE INJECTION ?
You do ! , we do a video call to teach you how to give , the needle is tiny and you don't feel it at all. Its really easy
WHAT SUPPORT WILL I GET?
You will have a one to one video call consultation once you have your pen to show you how to use your pen and give the first injection during this call together . you then have a contact number for 24 hour support that you can text or call any time, you will always speak to the same person, who will know you and where you are at in your journey.
If you need repeat video calls for your injection , this isn't a problem .
HOW MANY PEOPLE GET SIDE EFFECTS? AND WHAT ARE THEY ?
Some people get side effects, some don't. The most common side effect is nausea. we send out prescription anti sickness tablets with every first order of wegovy , so you have them just in case , other side effects can be headaches or tiredness. If you are particularly worried about side effects we can start you on a half dose so that we can see how you react to the medication first. there is 24hour support so always someone to call if needed.
MOUNJARO seems to be having far less side effects than WEGOVY.

Your initial consultation form is assessed by a Nurse Practitioner, a Registered Nurse who has specialised in weight management, and part of the National Medical WeightLoss Programme
The Clinic is CQC registered to carry out this service.The medication is then prescribed by a nurse prescriber and dispensed by a pharmacist
WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WEGOVY MOUNJARO ?
What are Mounjaro and Wegovy?
Mounjaro and Wegovy contain drugs that mimic two hormones in the body that lower hunger: GLP-1 and GIP.
The GLP-1 hormone has three major effects in your body:
1 – It slows the rate of food movement from your stomach to your small intestine
2 – It communicates with the appetite control centre in your brain to increase satiety so you feel less hungry
3 – It manages the release of the insulin and glucagon hormones in your body, ultimately leading to lower blood sugar levels (generally a good thing)
The natural GLP-1 hormone in your body lasts only a few minutes, whereas the GLP-1 drugs can last for many days. This means they can have the above effects over a more sustained period.
All-in-all, this leads to people feeling less hungry because they have food in their stomachs for longer, and GLP-1’s effect on the brain means that people feel like they have less ‘food noise’ and reduced desires for highly-desirable foods.
The main difference between Wegovy and Mounjaro is that the drug in Wegovy mimics a single hormone, GLP-1, while the drug in Mounjaro mimics both GLP-1 and GIP.
GIP is a hormone that supports blood sugar levels and helps our fat cells store more excess energy we might consume in our diets.
It’s thought this dual-action effect of Mounjaro is why better weight-loss results have been seen in the clinical trials published so far.

Simply fill in the online consultation form so we can check that you are medically suitable to have the pen. It takes 5 minutes to complete and asks for previous medical history, medications and about your lifestyle.
That comes straight to us and we check and get straight back to you to let you know if we can proceed.

How long is delivery ?For order's in by 10am Mon - Thur, delivery is next day by DPD, ordered in after lunch time Thursday will be delivered the following Tuesday unless you select Saturday delivery , this is due to the pen being sent out in cold chain ( ice packs ) and pharmacy don't dispatch on a weekend . Delivery to the Highlands of Scotland and IOM are a 2 day delivery We cannot deliver to Northern Ireland due to differences in the law

What dose of Mounjaro will Start on ?There are six different doses available, ranging from 2.5mg to 15mg . You must start at 2.5mg injected once a week for 4 weeks

Can I switch from Wegovy to Mounjaro ?If you are on Wegovy and have experienced adverse effects , switching to Mounjaro could be the answer. Both drugs are similar and you could still get side effects from Mounjaro but reports so far indicate less side effects with Mounjaro. We will guide you on how to with over. just get in touch
